Active Directory Administrator

to join the Service Desk/Accounts Team. This role involves providing advanced technical support, account administration, and security management for 12,000 end-users across the organization. The ideal candidate will serve as a

subject matter expert in Active Directory , with strong skills in account management, troubleshooting, and IT operations. The role requires excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities to effectively support users, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with IT security standards. Responsibilities Administer and manage Active Directory accounts, groups, and permissions. Troubleshoot data access, application access, and Active Directory issues. Resolve incidents and service requests using

ServiceNow , ensuring timely response and documentation. Support end-user needs including password resets, software/hardware troubleshooting, and incident management. Implement IT security policies and protect data from unauthorized access or misuse. Create, update, and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and operational standards. Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users. Lead or participate in IT projects, ensuring successful delivery and reporting status to management. Distribute agency-wide technology communications and updates as needed. Required Skills & Experience 3 years of experience administering

Microsoft Active Directory (2008/2012)

in a multi-site, multi-domain environment. Strong background in

account management and IT operations . Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues independently. Experience with

ServiceNow

or similar call tracking systems. Solid understanding of

IT security policies and practices . Ability to analyze client needs and develop effective solutions. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with strong customer service orientation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage critical incidents. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
