Value Stream Ownership:
Drive performance across quality and delivery metrics; lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency. Productivity Initiatives:
Identify, sponsor, and allocate resources to support initiatives that improve productivity and streamline processes. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
Represent Quest Global in all Value Stream-related matters; foster trust through consistent performance and responsiveness. Stakeholder Balance:
Navigate and balance the needs of customers, employees, and the organization to ensure sustainable success. Demand/Workload Forecasting:
Model and predict demand using market trends and customer insights to inform planning and resource allocation. Capability & Capacity Planning:
Design and execute plans to build capabilities and scale capacity within the Value Stream. Delivery Management:
Apply daily management practices to monitor delivery performance; proactively identify and resolve challenges. Quality Culture Promotion:
Champion systems and behaviors that uphold a culture of quality and ensure consistent delivery excellence. Team Performance Management:
Set goals, conduct appraisals, and manage performance to drive accountability and results. Employee Engagement & Culture:
Promote a positive work environment through recognition, engagement initiatives, and cultural development. Communication Rhythms:
Lead team communication practices including all-hands meetings, information dissemination, and team connects. Leadership Development:
Mentor front-line managers and contribute to building a strong leadership pipeline. Strategic Projects & Initiatives:
Support and lead special projects focused on performance enhancement, innovation, growth, and operational hygiene. What You Will Bring:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher, with a minimum of 5 years of management experience. Prior experience in Gas Power Controls Engineering is essential. Performance Leadership:
Proven track record of driving improvements in engineering quality and delivery performance across teams and projects. Global Collaboration:
Strong global mindset with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and geographies. Communication Excellence:
Exceptional ability to communicate and present clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levelsincluding management, peers, team members, and clients. Pay Range:
$100,000 to $150,000 Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. Work Requirements:
We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position could be remote within the United States or if close to Schenectady, NY; Greenville, SC; or Longmont, CO you will be required to be onsite 3 days a week. Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, up to 20% of travel is required.
