NEW GRADUATE OPPORTUNITIES - Emergency Department Fellowship The emergency department offers an exciting and fast-paced work environment. Our ED fellowships, crafted exclusively for recent nursing graduates, give you the chance to dive deep into this exhilarating setting and explore if it’s your ideal career path. The ED Fellowship includes: A full-time, one-year commitment Six months of rotations across various units Six months focused within the Emergency Department Personalized mentorship with an experienced nurse preceptor Fellowship starts three times a year in March, August, and October RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Care & Service:
Elevate patient health by implementing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, executing treatment procedures, and providing holistic support to patients and their families. Planning & Communication:
Craft and document tailored care plans to meet each patient’s individual needs, supported by the interdisciplinary health team as necessary; retain clear communication regarding patient health status, treatment strategies, and progression. Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management:
Exhibit proficiency in EHR usage, ensuring thorough and accurate patient and provider documentation. Compliance:
Follow department and system protocols, and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and educational requirements. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing Registered Nurse license in New York State Basic Life Support (BLS) certification PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred EDUCATION:
AS: Nursing (Required) LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA) RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Involves exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting. PAY RANGE: $38.22 - $50.96 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14626 The listed base pay range represents the potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. Future modifications may occur, and additional pay components may apply. Pay is determined based on experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
