LPF Piping Engineer
Strata-G is seeking an experienced LPF Piping Engineer with the following: Summary: Provide client, Mission Engineering, with full time piping design engineering support for facility and production area activities in Cat 2 and Cat3 facilities. The responsibilities for the design engineer are: - Provide design output documentation to support major facility modifications. Project Engineering The types of design output documents typically developed by a piping design engineer within the Mission Engineering organization are drawings, engineering instructions, data sheets, equipment specifications, equivalency evaluations, calculations, etc. A minimum of 10 years of experience in ASME B31.3 Process Piping Design. Works with other engineering disciplines and other plant organizations to produce timely design output. Experience in a NRC or DOE regulated environment is desirable. Requires an understanding of Conduct of Engineering, Conduct of Operations, Conduct of Maintenance for facilities operating within a nuclear regulated environment. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with various clients, production and support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees. Must be willing to perform field walk-downs and work in a production environment. Requirements: Requires an ABET accredited BS degree in a relevant Engineering discipline plus 10 or more years of relevant professional experience. Preferred Special Requirements: Q Clearance preferred or can be obtained. Job Type: Full-Time Job Location: Oak Ridge, TN. No remote or hybrid options.
