Clinical Intern - Master's Level
The Clinical Intern will provide clinical therapeutic and prevention services in an outpatient mental health office, school, community center and/or via telehealth. In this role you will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director or Clinical Supervisor in Ashland County. This is a paid part-time internship at $15/hr. that requires at least one semester working up to 20 hours a week based on the requirements of the educational institute. Willing to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings. Office-based work is required. The Clinical Intern will report to the Clinical Director or Clinical Supervisor and is responsible for assisting with a wide range of projects, including but not limited to, providing clinical therapeutic and prevention services in an outpatient mental health office, school, community center, and/or via telehealth. Responsibilities: Provides behavioral health assessments, develops treatment plans, and provides counseling to clients in an outpatient setting. Provides assistance with prevention programming which may include individual or group work. Participates in agency and community meetings as needed. Participates in community events as needed. Completes all paperwork required by the agency within designated time frames. Meets core social work, counselor, marriage & family competencies and adheres to regulations. Requirements: Individual is required to have a Bachelor's degree and is pursuing a Master's degree in an accredited program for Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Individual is required to have a trainee license or working towards licensure. Schedule:
Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling that may include some evenings. Office-based work is required. Pay:
