Position Overview:
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
to join our OB/GYN team in
Brenham, Texas
. This full-time role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with
call expectations
, providing care to both obstetric and gynecologic patients.
The ideal candidate is a confident, patient-focused provider with strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. A minimum of
2 years of midwifery experience is preferred
.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive OB and GYN care to women of all ages
Manage prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Conduct well-woman exams, contraception counseling, and routine gynecologic care
Participate in call rotation for inpatient services
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Provide patient education and health promotion
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife
Experience in both obstetrics and gynecology settings
