Pay Information $1,696 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Med Surg experience License: South Carolina license or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: IV start skills required Telemetry management experience preferred Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical. The shift is nights, working 3x12-hour shifts. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:6. The unit has 54 beds. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The nurse may need to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Candidates are accepted if they have 2 years of experience in Med Surg. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. A valid South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license must be in hand prior to the start date. Certifications required include BLS and ACLS. The nurse will possess IV start skills and preferably have experience managing telemetry. Additional responsibilities may include providing care for patients with various medical diagnoses. The environment emphasizes teamwork and collaboration among interdisciplinary support. Candidates should be prepared for emergency response assignments during hurricane season. This role involves working with adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting.
