Piper Companies Piper Companies is looking for a

Field Installation Technician - TS

to support the installation and integration of advanced Line Access Gateway systems across North America. The ideal Field Installation Technician - TS will be involved in hands-on fieldwork, system testing, and network troubleshooting in a fast-paced, high-travel environment.

Responsibilities for the Field Installation Technician - TS:

Travel frequently, often with short notice, and work night shifts as needed. Install and configure telecom hardware in field environments. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation. Manage and track installation tools and materials. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Troubleshoot network alarms and issues Conduct system integration, feature testing, and acceptance procedures. Maintain professional communication with customers and team members on-site.

Qualifications for the Field Installation Technician - TS:

*Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance required* 8+ years of experience in technical roles preferably in the telecom industry. Strong understanding of network architecture and call processing. Experience with Unix/Linux/Solaris systems. Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and climbing ladders. High travel and flexibility are required as projects are across North America. Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or a related technical field.

Compensation/Benefits for the Field Installation Technician - TS:

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Sick Leave (as required by law), and Paid Holidays
