Maintenance Technician
Wieland is hiring a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible to assist to maintain, repair and update the organization's machines and equipment where proficiency allows. Operates equipment safely per standard operating procedure and initiates safety improvements to operations as appropriate. This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site. Starting Pay: $24.82/hr with progression up to $27.78/hr. Schedule: 2nd shift 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay Schedule: Weekly. Responsibilities
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Supports continuous improvement. Maintains safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment as required. Assists to troubleshoot equipment that has failed to operate properly, determines cause of defect and undertakes corrective action that is required. Ability to operate machine shop equipment (including, but not limited to, lathes, millers, saws, pipe thread machines, grinders, drill press, shaper, etc.) to produce an acceptable part as directed. Successful completion of Crane Safety, Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space and Powered Industrial Truck and other training programs as prescribed by HR/Safety Department. Maintains accurate records for all work completed. Maintains thorough knowledge of equipment/machine specific SOP's. Proficient knowledge and understanding of 3 phase industrial electricity. Proficient knowledge of AC/DC schematics. Understands proper application of electrical codes. Proficient knowledge and understanding of solid-state electronics. Ability to read schematic drawings. Ability to size electrically. Proficient knowledge in use of acetylene torch and electrical welding. Knowledgeable in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Proficient plumbing (pipe fitting) ability. Basic carpentry skills. Ability to work overtime as business needs require. Qualifications
