The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on facilities and manufacturing equipment. This position will also assist other maintenance team members with duties that may be required. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is part of the Maintenance department located in Pensacola, FL and will be an on-site role. What you will do: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on various manufacturing equipment, utility machines, and R&D lab equipment Conduct minor repairs to machine components while maintaining safety initiatives Assist other maintenance team members with assigned tasks in an effort to improve equipment efficiency and production runtime Who you are: High school diploma with at least one year of maintenance experience Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and CMMS software Knowledge in HVAC, motors, gearboxes, bushings, bearings, chains, conveyors and other mechanical components. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 40lbs Ability to stand, squat, and reach for an extended period It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Ability to accurately document work performed in CMMS or other maintenance management system Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
