This is the job for you! The Global Fellows Living and Learning Community (LLC) Program Lead collaborates with the Faculty Director and Residential Life Coordinator in organizing educational programs, developing co-curricular initiatives, and promoting cross-cultural dialogue on campus.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: 1. In conjunction with the Faculty Director, develop a programming calendar with events that support the LLC goals that comply with Faculty Director programming expectations2. Attend programs, track attendance of programs and assess overall effectiveness.3. Administrative operations such as managing reservable spaces, submitting facility maintenance requests, and monitoring spending within budget guidelines4. Support Global Fellows by administering grants and scholarships for study abroad and undergraduate research projects, as well as working with campus partners in Financial Aid, Education Abroad, and the Office of Undergraduate Research to facilitate these grants and scholarships. Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience:
Requires a bachelors degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree and 2 years. Experience working with college students in and outside the classroom. Educational background and knowledge related to international themes and cross-cultural dialogue. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Support Global Fellows Administer grants and scholarships for study abroad and undergraduate research projects. Work with campus partners in Financial Aid, Education Abroad, and the Office of Undergraduate Research to facilitate these grants and scholarships. Create annual application processes and assist in reviewing applicants. Complete administrative processes necessary to distribute funds to award winners. Language Table Liaison: assist in recruiting, training and supervising the Language Table Coordinator in conjunction with the Faculty Director. Collaborate with the Language Table Coordinator to liaise with faculty in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures and internationally-focused student organizations to serve as a beyond the classroom language learning hub open to all USC students. Serve annually on the International Education Week committee. Assist in creating, facilitating and promoting international cultural events across campus each Fall. Additional study abroad support. In addition to coordinating study abroad programs, the Global Fellows program lead sets up and maintains the Marketplace account for the management of student programming fees. In conjunction with the Faculty Director, the Program Lead attends and chaperones the study abroad program. Serve as primary student organization advisor for the Global Fellows Ambassadors.
