The Site Coordinator is responsible for coordinating student academic programs, culturally relevant enrichment programs, family skill building programs, adult education programs, student activities and other components developed as part of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers extended day programs. Essential Functions Demonstrated written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple services to meet the needs of students and families at school sites. Demonstrated ability to develop effective educationally enriching activities for students and families with school staff, parents and community partners. Works with ESD 123 staff, community resources and school staff in a team approach to identify and align services for students and families. Demonstrated successful experience of working within timelines with several partners at a time. Facilitates activities with students on school sites as needed. Coordinates all events, speakers, cultural programs, creative arts programs for the project. Travels to scheduled events with students involved in 21st CCLC site activities. Data entry and monitor a data collection system in cooperation with the evaluator that efficiently and effectively captures information for reporting. Develop brochures and distribute to students, staff, families, and community partners on programs offered at 21st Century Learning Community Centers. Assist in identification of those students and families in need of prevention and counseling services. Utilize resource and referral mechanism for service delivery. Provide school staff with updates on project and outcomes. Link students, families, and community to the project. Knowledge of Washington State Educational Reform including Grade Level Expectations and required state assessments. Willing to travel and work flexible schedules with some evenings and weekends required. Maintain confidentiality. Follow all applicable Board Policies/Procedures and program requirements.
Supervisory
Recommends individuals for hire to staff program offerings. Assigns duties and responsibilities for 21st CCLC site staff, aligned with job descriptions. Provides or coordinates professional growth opportunities for staff members at the site. Supports and implements ESD 123 policies, regulations, procedures and administrative directives.

Deals with obstacles and constraints positively. Demonstrates ability to adjust to and use new approaches in the performance of duties. Maintains dress and appearance appropriate to a school setting. Related duties as required are duties that may not be specifically listed in the Position Description but are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employees classification of work.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Bachelors Degree preferred. Two years experience working with school systems in a certified teaching position or para-educator position. Experience in coordinating multiple tasks and programs. Experience and ability to work effectively with students and adults. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
WSP/FBI background clearance required. Requires The Ability To Actively participate in school and community advisory committee for 21st Century Learning Centers Project. Submit records, reports, and assignments promptly and efficiently. Aid referrals to services for students and families. Complete monthly report including calendar of upcoming events. Maintain records of trainings and report on events conducted.
Must have valid drivers license and car insurance. Compensation
Paid once a month on the last working day of the month. Average monthly gross paycheck based on days and hours assigned to the work calendar (Sept 01-Aug 31) and placement on the salary schedule. A full work calendar for this position is 200 days and 8 hours per day. Example gross monthly paycheck for a full year: $3,878 (step 1/year 1) - $4,365 (step 5/year 5). This amount may vary based on hiring date and months remaining in the work calendar.
