Work Study, Student Ambassador (Creative Arts)

Tri-C Creative Arts Eastern Campus Art Department Support Tri-C's Creative Arts program offers a world of hands-on opportunities, customized learning experiences for degree-seeking students and those interested in exploring the arts. The eastern campus has two work study positions. Job Responsibilities: Meet and direct guests for Creative Arts and Art Gallery Assist with the Creative Arts Eastern Office with main telephone line and art gallery line Maintain the literature displays Keep the area clean including art gallery Update the Creative Arts database Assist the department with various projects Assist with Creative Arts events Help with Creative Arts social media Required Qualifications: Creative Arts Majors or significant experience with art Have completed at least 6 credit hours at Tri-C; minimum GPA of 2.5; consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester; maintain satisfactory academic progress; adhere to College's confidentiality policy; successfully pass background/drug screening; Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; must demonstrate outstanding customer service, reliability, effective leadership skills, and strong communication skills; provide support to students during peak periods: assist students with My Tri-C Space; provide campus tours; assist with on and off campus events such as open houses, NSO, college fairs, high school visits; must participate in leadership programs and attend student success workshops; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet applications Responsible and prompt other duties as assigned.
