Description
This position is responsible for the identification, receipt, movement and supporting transactions of incoming raw and finished materials, supplies, equipment, etc.
Key Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage. • Performs pick and pack functions. • Lifts, places, transports, and counts component parts and equipment. • Checks quantity, type, and part numbers to properly identify materials when necessary. • Provides limited transactional duties to support physical movement of inventory. • Provides support to designated area. • Routes or delivers materials to storage or manufacturing locations. • Loads and unloads materials. • Other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with a minimum of 0 - 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel) • Ability to maintain a positive, respectful attitude, communicate constructively, listen actively and function as an active and committed participant within a team and the company • Ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously Basic mathematical skills, including common fractions and decimals Keen attention to detail Job Benefits
