Farm and Garden Volunteers - Growing for the community.

Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture, education, and community engagement? Do you love working outdoors and nurturing the growth of plants, soil and community? Farm Discovery is looking for thoughtful and interested volunteers to join us in growing on this land! About Us: Farm Discovery at Live Earth is a nonprofit organization working in the Pajaro Valley community to empower youth and families to build and sustain healthy food, farming, social and natural systems. Our farm and garden serve as a vibrant learning center where people of all ages can connect with nature, explore sustainable gardening practices, and gain hands-on experience in gardening. Overview: As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in helping us maintain our farm and garden, and in doing so help support our educational initiatives. Your activity's may include: Assisting with planting, mulching and weeding. Digging beds, adding compost, raking and seeding. Harvesting delicious crops, both for our communities and for you to take home. Seed saving! Taking care of our goats and chickens. Helping shape the future of the space! Identifying native plants and pollinators. What We’re Looking For: A interest in gardening and/or farming. A willingness to work outdoors and with your hands. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous gardening or farm experience is a plus but not required. We are happy to teach people interested in learning some horticultural arts. What We Offer: Time outside connecting with the natural world. Hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
