Where Data Does More. Join the Snowflake team. We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Cortex AI Platform team. This team powers all LLMs needs of Snowflake and Snowflake customers. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining state of the art infrastructure that powers Snowflake in its very ambitious AI journey. You will work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the evolution of our global infrastructure.

IN THIS ROLE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions to support the deployment of large language models

Optimize compute, storage, and networking resources to enhance performance and cost-efficiency

Develop and maintain tools for monitoring and managing LLM performance metrics

Implement security measures and best practices to protect sensitive data

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues ensuring minimal disruption

Document infrastructure designs and processes for knowledge sharing

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

2 plus years of experience in Software Development.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or C++

Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Strong communication skills and team collaboration capabilities

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan. The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
