What You'll Do

Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement opportunities where applicable

Drive process improvements based on performance analysis and lessons learned

Provide technical support regarding plant equipment, process efficiency, and plant wide safety

Recommend and implement process improvements

Develop solutions and improvements to equipment and processes

Responsible for process stabilization and improvement in all shop areas

Collaborate with maintenance and engineering on capital projects and commissioning of new equipment

What You'll Need Experience in Polymer extrusion, plastic additives, polymer testing, R&D experimentation and analysis is a plus

Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced continually changing environment

Ability to work with teams and different departments

Able to communicate, verbally and written, with operators, supervisors, maintenance, suppliers, management, and plant support staff

Ability to track, chart, and improve processes

Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals

Your Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.

A degree in Science or Engineering (Polymer, Chemical, or Mechanical) is strongly preferred
