Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) is seeking a
Cost Estimator
to join our team! This position is contingent upon contract award. BGS is an engineering, technology, and security firm helping to advance missions of importance for government programs, laboratories, security facilities, nuclear operations, and complex commercial projects. We support clients at every stage, from strategic planning and program management to the execution of project management, procurement, supply chain management, quality, safety, security, nuclear, and systems engineering and technical activities. Responsibilities: Develop and examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. Examine requests for budget revisions, recommend approval or denial, and draft correspondence. Provide technical assistance in the preparation of budgets. Duties may also involve coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production or other operational schedules. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: BA/BS Degree plus 0 - 4 years of direct experience required, or MS with 0 - 3 years' experience. Individuals without a BA or BS degree will be considered on a two (2) to one (1) basis; two (2) years' experience will equal one (1) year of education or relevant task-specific experience deemed acceptable by the Client. Successful drug screening. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge. Qualifications: BA/BS Degree in a technical discipline, plus 18+ years of direct experience required, or an MS with 15+ years' experience.
