Macdonald & Company are pleased to be partnered with a privately held, vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm with a strong track record of reimagining urban spaces and delivering high-quality, design-driven projects across major U.S. markets. The firm has a proven history across office, retail, and mixed-use developments, with additional exposure to multifamily assets. The firm is seeking a Vice President of Asset Management to be based in Atlanta. This individual will oversee portfolio performance across commercial (office and retail) assets, while also contributing to mixed-use and multifamily strategies. The role spans strategic planning, leasing oversight, capital improvements, and investor reporting offering full-cycle asset management exposure and the opportunity to influence value creation across a diverse portfolio. This is a standout opportunity for a mid-to-senior level asset management professional who thrives on driving performance, collaborating with development and acquisitions teams, and managing commercial real estate assets to maximize long-term returns. Key Responsibilities

Lead asset management strategy across office, retail, and mixed-use properties within the portfolio Develop and execute business plans to optimize NOI, leasing, and tenant retention Partner with leasing teams to structure and negotiate leases, ensuring long-term value creation Oversee capital projects, property improvements, and repositioning initiatives Manage relationships with third-party property managers, brokers, and other service providers Prepare and present portfolio performance updates, investor reporting, and hold/sell analyses Collaborate with acquisitions and development teams to support underwriting and transitions into stabilized operations Monitor market trends and performance benchmarks to inform portfolio strategy Qualifications & Experience

10+ years of real estate asset management experience, with a focus on office and/or retail assets Mixed-use and multifamily exposure a plus Proven track record of driving NOI growth, leasing performance, and asset repositioning Strong financial and analytical skills with experience in Argus and Excel modeling Excellent communication and relationship management skills with investors, tenants, and internal teams Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field If youre looking for the chance to make a visible impact within a dynamic, design-forward, and entrepreneurial platform, wed love to hear from you.
