VNA Meals on Wheels, as a not for profit organization, depends on volunteers to help meet our mission to provide compassionate care and support for patients and their families. We are seeking volunteer drivers for our new VNA Meals on Wheels truck. The hours are approximately 9:45 a.m. - 12:45.p.m., Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include picking up Meals on Wheels containers from Pines Village in Valparaiso, delivering them to Alterra Sterling House in Portage in our Meals on Wheels truck, and returning the empty containers to Pines Village. This is a perfect opportunity for a couple or for groups of volunteers to rotate days.
