Maintenance Technician II Shift:

3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Overview As a Level II Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by providing multi-craft equipment maintenance with a focus on reliability and efficiency. You'll complete preventive maintenance on motors, conveyor systems, and production machinery while also contributing to process improvement and problem-solving initiatives. General Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year Technical Degree preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical background with a minimum of 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience (or comparable demonstrated skills). Proficiency with computers and maintenance software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CMMS). Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals. Familiarity with shop equipment (drill press, band saw, portable power tools). Skilled at reading and interpreting precision measuring devices. Capable of mentoring and training other maintenance team members. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Successful completion of certification testing. Primary Responsibilities Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using systematic methodologies. Install and align mechanical drive systems. Complete preventive maintenance tasks, including major service and overhauls. Replace failed parts or components and adjust equipment to meet operational specifications. Maintain machinery lubrication and ensure proper equipment function. Recommend process or procedural changes based on equipment performance. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices (e.g., ohmmeters, voltmeters). Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, conduits, lighting fixtures, and related components. Keep accurate maintenance records to support historical data and future requirements. Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on equipment servicing. Quality & Safety Stay current with maintenance procedures and equipment through ongoing learning and annual skills assessments. Report accidents, incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately. Follow all prescribed safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Physical/Environmental Demands Ability to meet the physical requirements of working safely in an industrial maintenance environment. Handle materials and perform work in accordance with environmental policies to minimize impact.
