A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join their Real Estate Finance Practice Group in Kansas City. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in real estate finance, including loan origination and asset management.
Duties
Manage loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions. Handle mezzanine loans and preferred equity transactions. Oversee asset management and workout processes. Run transactions from inception through closing and post-closing. Engage in secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies. Requirements
3-6 years of broad real estate finance experience. Experience in large law firm settings preferred. Superb writing and communication skills. Ability to manage transactions for borrowers and lenders. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications
Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice. Skills
