the League - Volunteer with Special Olympics North Carolina! Softball & Soccer Leagues | August - November 2025 Special Olympics North Carolina (SONC) is seeking enthusiastic and organized volunteers to serve as League Managers for the 2025 softball and soccer seasons. This key role ensures a smooth and positive league experience for athletes and Unified partners across the state! Season Duration:
August - November 2025 Location:
Remote with occasional in-person attendance (including one weekend for playoffs) What You'll Do: * Build and manage the home-and-away match schedule * Communicate regularly with coaches, teams, and SONC staff * Confirm game times, locations, and opponents * Track rosters and verify athlete eligibility * Report scores and resolve league issues * Support logistics for the one-day playoff event in early November Desired Skills: * Strong communication and organization skills * Basic experience with email and Excel * 2-4 hours of availability per week * Availability to attend games or playoffs on-site (one weekend) * A passion for inclusive sports (coaching not required!)
