Join Our Team as a MECM System Support Administrator! Leidos is seeking a talented MECM System Support Administrator to be a key player in our dynamic enterprise IT contract for the DOD. This is an excellent opportunity for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment, supporting operations across multiple enclaves, classifications, and time zones. You will be instrumental in providing systems and software Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support in a large and complex environment utilizing Microsoft's Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), previously known as SCCM. This is not just another IT role; we are looking for an individual who is technical, customer-oriented, and has a passion for utilizing Microsoft tools and software effectively. Your attention to detail will shine as you capture customer inquiries accurately and work collaboratively in a team to meet mission needs. Role Highlights: Engage with customers to address service inquiries and resolve problems. Manage the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of MECM Distribution Points and core servers. Distinguish between isolated user issues and broader enterprise problems effectively. Administer and troubleshoot virtual application packages. Ensure the latest approved boot images and necessary drivers are available across all distribution points. Create, manage, and troubleshoot task sequences and packages to streamline operations. Utilize reporting features to generate necessary reports for software license usage and security patch deployments. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather data, analyze incidents, and implement viable solutions. Troubleshoot complex issues, document requirements for changes, and apply those changes with minimal downtime. Foster knowledge management through training opportunities for team members and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Manage major projects including new Distribution Point deployments and upgrades. Deliver detailed follow-up reports for root cause analysis and process improvements. Support troubleshooting for Deskside Support and Tech Refresh staff dealing with workstation reimaging issues. Contribute to a 24/7/365 mission-oriented environment. Mentor and train personnel in the IT Operations Center. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Tier 2 system administration of Microsoft MECM and troubleshooting. Proficiency in Scripting/Automation using PowerShell or similar languages. Strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with IT Service Management solutions like Service Now or Remedy. Relevant certification in Microsoft MECM or System Center will be an advantage. Education and Clearance: Bachelor's degree with 4 years relevant experience or equivalent experience will be considered. Must be a U.S. Citizen and have TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph or willingness to obtain.
