Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer

Salary Range: $90,000 – $150,000/year (up to $200k for exceptional experience)
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, occasional overtime

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and manage electrical engineering projects of varying sizes and complexity for residential and commercial developments. This role involves designing innovative systems, mentoring project teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through completion. Design electrical systems including:
Electrical distribution and transfer switching UPS systems, grounding and bonding Lighting and control systems Life safety and emergency systems Fire alarm systems
Design ICAT services including: communications, AV, security access/monitoring, structured cabling. Prepare concept designs, load calculations, schematics, equipment selection, and system reports. Write construction specifications and review shop drawings. Mentor and coach junior engineers and project teams. Maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Provide quality and cost control throughout the design and construction phases. Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and project alignment. Conduct site visits as needed during construction. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred. Other professional qualifications with relevant experience considered. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) required. Project management certification or diploma is a plus. LEED accreditation is an asset. Minimum 5 years of industry-related experience, consulting engineering background preferred. Strong understanding of engineering contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers. Mechanical and electrical coordination experience; construction experience is a plus. Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods. Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
