The Solutions Consultant role evolves the traditional Sales Engineering function by aligning how we serve customers: understanding their environment, providing solution guidance, and ensuring value realization from Palo Alto Networks investments. You will provide technical leadership and expertise on customers security transformation journeys, define technical solutions that align with business imperatives, and evangelize PANW as a cybersecurity partner of choice across on?prem, cloud, and security operations services. Your Impact

Curiosity drives this role; you view complex problems as opportunities to deliver innovative solutions. Define your impact through the following: Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building and executing strategic, technical account plans targeting cross?platform solutions. Understanding customer requirements and articulating, demonstrating, and designing high?level solutions across the PANW portfolio to create business value. Driving adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform and strengthening customer relationships to improve productivity, efficiency, security, and innovation. Conducting discovery to capture key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers. Collaborating with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions. Communicating effectively through presentations and demos, leading technical engagements and workshops that simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences. Leading technical validation efforts to win opportunities. Demonstrating cross?functional leadership to orchestrate resources for a cohesive strategy. Promoting end?to?end solutions that include PANW and partner services to accelerate business value. Understanding the competitive landscape and differentiating PANWs leadership in cybersecurity. Continuously investing in technical and professional skills and contributing to the Solutions Consultant community and industry events. Identifying technical stakeholders and building relationships to drive a security architecture transformation roadmap. Qualifications

Your Experience 6+ years of experience in pre?sales or sales engineering Skilled in at least one of: Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives Influencing and gaining buy?in from stakeholders; prior pre?sales experience is ideal Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation technologies Partnering with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption Experience in complex multi?product, multi?center sales; long sales cycles preferred This is a field sales role with travel; discuss specifics with the recruiter Proficient in English The Team

The compensation offered for this position depends on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates offered at the posted level, the starting base salary for non?sales roles or base salary + commission target for sales roles is expected to be between $198,000/YR - $273,000/YR.
