The following description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential responsibilities of work performed by employees within this classification. It is not a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required. Responsibilities

Client communication. Review of varying levels of scopes of work including formally advertised (written), verbally communicated, jurisdictional inspection reports, or preventative maintenance. Review of plans which are sometimes as-built plans and other times recent construction plans. Take off quantities using plans and/or aerial photos. Coordination with division superintendent to perform site visits and provide "superintendent estimate sheet" detailing durations, labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor project needs. Independently costing out assigned jobs and drafting a written proposal. Required Qualifications:

A.S. or B.S. Degree: Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or equivalent is preferred Basic math skills with understanding of material types used & labor/equipment resources. Some level of experience with civil construction or a background which could transfer easily, such as landscaping or hardscape. Ability to read and interpret construction civil drawings. Plan views and details/cross sections/profiles. Provide accurate take off quantities. Attention to detail and understanding critical importance of hitting due dates. Required familiarity with all MS programs. Mainly Outlook and Excel InEight software experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided in the use of BlueBeam (PDF), Salesforce (CRM), InEight (Bidding Software), PlanSwift (Take off Software). Compensation:
