JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective As an Inventory Management Clerk, you will oversee the receipt, documentation, and tracking of products. You will be the main point of contact for the Inventory Manager regarding product issues and status updates, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs. Essential Functions Assist the Inventory Supervisor with daily operations. Inspect incoming contents and verify against records to ensure accuracy. Check merchandise invoices against items received to confirm order fulfillment. Log shipment details such as weight, charges, and discrepancies for reporting purposes. Select efficient shipping methods based on knowledge of procedures and costs. Route materials to various departments as needed. Prepare items for shipping by packing, sealing, and labeling appropriately. Communicate with relevant personnel to resolve issues like damages or shortages. Manage the requisition and storage of shipping materials and supplies. Calculate shipping needs and space availability. Maintain optimal stock levels across all stores. Understand the warranty and returns policies per vendor. Rotate stock and ensure product freshness. Keep the inventory closet organized and clean. Conduct physical inventories of the storage area. Facilitate inventory movement within the market. Assist with the Return Authorization (RA) process. Competencies Attention to Detail:

Work Environment This position operates within a retail store environment. Physical Demands Employees in this role must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and will be required to stand for extended periods. This is a physically active job. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time role, with work hours scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexibility is required for nights and weekends during special product launches. Travel 1-10% of work time may involve travel. Required Education and Experience High School diploma or GED. Preferred Education and Experience Previous experience in retail.
