Endoscopy Technician

Coastal Endoscopy Center is hiring an Endoscopy Technician. Welcome to Coastal Endoscopy Center. We believe health and care are inseparable. The Endoscopy Technician operates under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during both simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse, and Endoscopy Technician collaborate in the procedure room to create ideal conditions for achieving positive patient outcomes. The Endoscopy Technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and other instruments. Additional duties of the GI technician include managing patient flow, preparing the room for procedures, stocking supplies, ordering materials, and handling various clerical tasks. Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of experience in Endoscopy procedures. Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred Current BLS required, ACLS preferred Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.)
