We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Analyst to join our dynamic commercial real estate brokerage team. This includes but is not limited to following the instructions of the sales team and assisting the sales team on an as-needed basis, drafting documentation related to a listing, purchase, or sale of a property, underwriting, maintaining accurate and up to date records in the database, preparing lease abstracts and property valuations, coordinating communication between the sales team and sellers/buyers, ensuring document compliance, analyzing data, and collaborating cross-functionally to sustain an efficient sales process. The Sales Analyst may assist with companywide initiatives and projects on an as needed basis. The Sales Analyst must be licensed as a real estate salesperson or must be willing an able to obtain a real estate license and is expected to perform activities for which a real estate salespersons license is required, under the direction and supervision of the sales team, but Sales Analyst is not a sales position and will not be expected to develop business or originate sales. The ideal candidate is motivated and ambitious, excited by new challenges, and able to keep a calm demeanor in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The main tenants of this position are financial analysis, data analysis, property/ownership research, property/business underwriting, and organization.
This is an on-site role based in our Scottsdale, AZ office.
Responsibilities:
Input, analyze, and identify trends in data as a means of reporting business trajectory and team performance
Maintain relationships and effectively coordinate with multiple points of contact, both internal and external
Analyze, underwrite, and forecast property cash flows and valuations using underwriting templates
Breakdown and analyze profit and loss statements and rent rolls
Assist with preparing and presenting analysis/BOVs to clients
Assist with update and maintaining rent and sales comparables for the agents market utilizing multiple data services
Prepare letters of Intent, listing agreements, addenda, and client reports
Maintains accurate and up-to date information in company database
Track multiple projects to meet critical deadlines and report status frequently
Monitor and maintain the adherence to and compliance with state laws nationwide
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
3-5 years of relevant experience
Active Real Estate License, or willing and able to obtain real estate license.
Comfortable with concepts of intermediate math
Highly organized and attentive to detail
Passionate about using data as a tool for promoting and monitoring business growth
Strong interpersonal skills and able to convey complex principles through written and spoken correspondence
Ability to read and interpret documents including real estate contracts and leases
Highly adaptable and a clear-thinking problem solver
A self-starter on individual projects and a contributing member on team projects
Experience in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
Familiarity with CRM systems, Argus and AIR Forms a plus
Familiarity with running excel models for financial analysis and data organization.
