HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a travel job in Columbia, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Electrophysiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/27/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Title: Electrophysiology Tech Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift | 4x10-Hour (07:00 – 17:30) Job Responsibilities and Required / Preferred Skills Perform all electrophysiology (EP) procedures including ablations, implants, and Watchman device procedures. Utilize specialized equipment such as Cardiolab, Ensite, Carto, ICE systems, and Cryo for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, interpretation services, phlebotomy, rapid response, and pharmacy to provide comprehensive patient care. Accurately document patient information and procedures using Epic EMR system. Participate in on-call coverage during holiday weekends as required. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or cardiac cath lab. Certification as RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist). SCRQSA certification. At least 1 year experience using Epic EMR system. Successful completion of a health sciences program. Minimum 1 year of scrub experience. Flu vaccine required (no exemptions). Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Able to work Monday to Friday with occasional late shifts; no weekends. Preferred experience with tilt table studies.
