Embedded Systems Intern
The Engineering team at Bose is a thriving, passionate, deeply skilled team of professionals from a broad range of disciplines and experiences, who share a common goalto create products that provide transformative sound experiences. We're looking for an Embedded Systems Intern to join the Software Experience (SX) Team, which focuses on exploring software features for new products, developing post-launch software updates, and overseeing third-party projects that are fully designed and developed by our external development partners. In this role the intern will: Develop and debug embedded C/C++ code for Bluetooth System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms. Explore and prototype new software features, contributing to assessments on whether they should be included in final product releases. Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to integrate and test Bluetooth features. Write Python scripts for automation, data analysis, and tool development. Assist in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines for embedded software. Document code, test procedures, and results for internal and external use. To be successful in this role, you should be/have: Pursuing BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers Proficiency in C/C++ and Python. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams Familiarity with tools like Git, JIRA, Pytest, or similar. Experience with debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers) is a plus. Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies Attention to detail and commitment to quality Time management and ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications: Final-year student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
