Our client is modernizing and strengthening its enterprise mainframe infrastructureand were hiring a Senior System Programmer to make it happen. Youll work hands-on with z/OS, CICS, JCL, SMP/E, and system tools to keep mission-critical environments running smoothly. If youre someone who can debug at the command level, write REXX scripts in your sleep, and thrive in complex system environments, we want to hear from you. Location:

Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS system software Manage CICS, JES2, TCP/IP, SMS, WLM, and z/OS Unix System Services Apply PTFs and perform software maintenance with SMP/E Debug mainframe system and app-level issues Support legacy batch systems and document system operations What You Bring
5+ years of z/OS experience Strong command of SMP/E, REXX, JCL, ISPF, SDSF COBOL and Assembler programming Familiarity with CA tools, FDR/ABR, shell scripting, and SQL Able to work 40 hours on-site in Largo, MD, with 24/7 availability for critical support Why Blue Sky
