AECOM's Technology Solutions Department in our Water Business Line is actively seeking a highly motivated, talented, and creative GIS Specialist. In this role you will be part of a team that provides support through GIS data management, geospatial analysis and modeling, cartographic product development and other technical support. The successful candidate will work both independently and in close coordination with the project team to develop, deploy and support all GIS functions. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Create and update report maps for ongoing projects. Program for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) design, mapping and analysis. Contribute to the design of databases or development of geodatabases and systems, as well as compile and analyze GIS data. Create, analyze, report, convert or transfer data using GIS software. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in geography, or related field and 2+ years of relevant, progressive GIS experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications: PreGISP (GISP-E) certification is a plus. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with the project team and diverse clients. Understanding of relational databases and Geodatabase technology. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong desire to work in a fast-paced team environment. Excellent time management skills. Additional Information: Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. Relocation is not available for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $50,000.00 - $70,000.00.
