Sr. Manager, Social Marketing (Retail) 6 month contract (40 hours a week) with potential to extend. Candidate must be located in NY or LA. Our client is looking for a senior marketing leader to plan, develop, execute and optimize social media campaigns for brand and retail initiatives. Overview
In this role, the individual will take the lead in planning, developing, executing and optimizing compelling social media campaigns for brand and retail campaigns. Our ideal candidate possesses a high bar for global brand development, social strategy, qualitative and quantitative measurement tools. They will work across various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Snap, driving long-term strategy and creating engaging content that drives brand and business results. They are customer-obsessed, data-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. They will collaborate with internal and external teams and partners to drive innovative and impactful campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a mix of marketing, editorial, retail, relationship management and organizational skills, with deep industry knowledge and analytical ability to plan for and measure success on all social campaigns. They will strive to create innovative, inclusive content and campaigns, social-first organic, engagement & UGC content, influencer programs and multicultural initiatives. They will be comfortable experimenting and owning a roadmap that is flexible to meet customer and business needs. Key responsibilities
Own strategy and content production for brand and retail social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snap and YouTube Develop creative briefs that inspire breakthrough ideas for our creative teams Project manage social content production campaigns, including managing external agencies, partners and cross-functional teams Own social marketing metrics, goals, and KPIs to measure and report business results to leadership Support business and contract negotiations Collaborate cross-functionally with partners across North American Stores, Creator Growth, PR, creative, media and analytics teams to scale brand campaigns Research and identify innovative opportunities within new and existing social platforms and formats to reach customers more efficiently Stay informed about audience trends and infuse the brand social space with innovative ideas
Qualifications
7-10 years relevant experience in social media for retail campaigns Advanced knowledge of social media platforms, scheduling software and analytics Passion for engaging diverse audiences, particularly Gen Z Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders Strong analytical skills with experience monitoring and optimizing social metrics Skilled writer with strong project management and attention to detail Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience defining marketing strategy and delivering executional excellence Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams Flexible, proactive, and with a can-do attitude
Salary and type
Base pay range: $80.00/hr - $85.00/hr Employment type: Contract
