What Youll Be Doing
As a Mechanical Claims Specialist, youll use your deep understanding of vehicle systems and repair processes to: Evaluate Claims: Review mechanical issues and determine whether repairs are covered under warranty using established guidelines. Support Dealerships & Customers: Take inbound calls from dealerships and vehicle owners to explain claim decisions and guide them through the repair process. Problem-Solve: Use your diagnostic skills to assess repair needs and advise on next steps, even when information is incomplete or pending. Document Cases: Use web-based tools to track, manage, and resolve claims efficiently and accurately. Types of Calls Youll Handle
Dealerships requesting approval for repairs under warranty. Vehicle owners seeking clarity on approved or denied claims. Vehicle owners needing guidance on how to initiate a claim or get a repair quote. What You Bring
3+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic or in a related field. Strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair processes. Excellent communication skillsable to explain technical issues to both experts and everyday drivers. Customer service experience, especially in resolving complex or sensitive issues. Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate multiple systems and screens. Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple claims at once. Bonus Skills
ASE Certification () Experience with AllData, Mitchell, or other labor guides Familiarity with scan tools (a plus) Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates encouraged to apply Additional Details
Must be willing to travel for a 2-week onboarding training in either Deerfield Beach, FL or St. Louis, MO. Occasional Saturday shifts may be required. A high-speed internet connection and quiet home workspace are needed for remote/hybrid schedules. Experience Level

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
