Senior Technical Recruiter with Inserso Corporation Inserso is seeking a candidate to join our team to provide mission-critical Data and Software Development Security and Operations (DevSecOps) support to our federal customers. The Application Programming Interface (API) Developer will create, sustain, and upgrade current application and content presentation services that identify and exploit existing data services for customers on NIPR/SIPR. The Application Programming Interface (API) Developer will create new SOA applications and APIs, create presentation services, define, align and register vocabularies, expose information assets for discovery in the Metadata Environment (MDE) for Communities of Interest (COI), provide wrapping services and provide data layer connectivity. The position will be on-site at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient APIs using .NET 8+, ensuring high performance and security. Define and implement Service Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and standards, including documentation, testing, and deployment strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into well-defined specifications. Create and maintain schemas and documentation for enterprise data assets, promoting reusability. Optimize data retrieval processes from legacy systems, ensuring data quality and consistency. Monitor and improve service health metrics, ensuring high availability and performance of APIs. Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development practices, automation, and data processing capabilities. Actively participate in architectural reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Troubleshoot production and non-production issues by reviewing and analyzing logs, metrics and code. Solve complex technical problems with innovative solutions. Required Skills/Experience

Must be a U.S. Citizen Bachelors degree in computer science or an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience. Possess an active Secret Clearance. Must have at least one of the following active credentials: Security +, MS Certified Azure Developer Associate, Oracle Certified Professional, GIAC Secure Software Programmer, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer Meet DoD 8140 certification requirements 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on .NET and C#. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Architectural patterns, design principles, and best practices. Developing RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies. With relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design, performance optimization, and SQL. Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. With modern development tools and practices, including Git, Azure DevOps (or similar), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. Understanding data ingestion from APIs and experience building data pipelines. Preferred Skills/Experience

Experience with other database technologies, such as NoSQL databases. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Experience with Python/PySpark Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Physical and/or Mental Qualifications

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. Seniority level
