American Traveler is seeking an experienced Sonographer for an evening shift travel assignment in an orthopedic hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of recent sonography experience. Responsibilities Work in an orthopedic hospital as a sonographer Evening shifts from 11:30 AM to midnight (3x12 hour shifts per week) Blocked scheduling may be permitted depending on facility needs Assignment length is approximately 17 weeks Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed if made up during the contract Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible but may receive a reduced rate After three consecutive 13-week local contracts, a one-year separation or transfer outside the 50 mile radius is required before returning Block scheduling must be requested in advance and is subject to facility approval Requirements
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in sonography Active license required if applicable No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Certifications must remain valid for at least the first 30 days of the assignment, unless proof of renewal is provided Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted Benefits
