Position Summary: This is a leadership role. Schedule: Monday through Friday 5:30 p.m. to completion. From warehouse storage areas, trains selectors to fill customer orders. Position Responsibilities: Read computer generated stickers to determine items to be selected and where to locate the items. Conveys items from warehouse slot to pallet to fill customer orders. Places materials or items on pallets to insure best order for ease of delivery and safety of product. Sorts and stacks perishable goods in refrigerated, freezer or dry pallets, depending on type of product being selected. Marks materials with identifying information, by attaching sticker to product. Operates hand pallet jack to transport palletized items from warehouse storage area to loading dock. Shrinks wrap pallets correctly. Completes initial training in accident reporting, safety and HACCP. Trains warehouse and drivers in the safe operation of powered industrial trucks (forklifts / pallet jacks). Incumbents will follow any other instructions, and perform any other related duties, as may be required by their supervisor. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience 3 - 5 Years Five years related experience in warehousing and powered industrial trucks.
