Embedded Software Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems. This role involves working closely with embedded hardware to ensure high performance, reliability, and real-time functionality. Design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions for a variety of applications. Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software performance and ensure seamless integration with embedded systems. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C/C++ or other relevant languages. Develop and execute unit tests; debug and troubleshoot software and hardware issues. Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Analyze system requirements and contribute to project planning and timelines. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in embedded systems development. Contribute to PCB design from schematic capture and circuit design to board layout and validation. Proficiency in Embedded C and C++ programming. Experience with ARM processors and hardware design. Familiarity with hardware interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, and bare metal. Knowledge of PCB design, including USB/WiFi connectivity and validation methods. Ability to write code for microprocessors and use tools like Altium, oscilloscopes, and Linux. ITAR requirements. Bachelor's degree in software or hardware engineering. 5-8 years of experience, including work on 32-bit ARM processors. 3+ years of experience with USB, Bluetooth, and WiFi connectivity. 3+ years of experience in Embedded Systems Programming (C). Experience in developing simple command line or Windows forms applications using C++ or C#. This position offers an entrepreneurial and fast-paced work environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of products. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, Arizona. The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
