American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification and at least 18 months of permanent specialty experience. Responsibilities Work in a hospital radiology department within the MRI unit Schedule is 4x9.5 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM Weekend requirement is every 4th weekend, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with call from 12:00 PM Saturday to 12:00 AM Monday Travelers must complete two fingerprinting processes: one onsite and one through the agency Nicotine-free status required as demonstrated by a negative cotinine drug screen within 12 months of start Facility conducts both BCI/FBI fingerprinting, which must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing Returning employees cannot be placed within 1 year of previous assignment end date Local candidates are accepted at the same rate ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment required during orientation; acceptable scores are mandatory All requests for time off must be discussed during the interview process PBDS assessment is waived Requirements
Active ARRT (MR) certification required at time of consideration AHA BLS certification required and must be current at time of consideration Minimum of 18 months permanent experience as a MRI Technologist in the specialty prior to travel Must obtain Ohio state license prior to start; license required if applicable Must provide at least one professional reference from a supervisory role in the MRI specialty within the past 12 months No open background check cases accepted All required certifications and licenses must be active, not pending Benefits
