Overview
One of our partners in the Cincinnati area is looking to add members to their current team supporting their Intune and packaging needs to support their facility fully onsite. Responsibilities Experience with Intune from an engineering and programming level. Extensive Windows PC support and configuration experience including Windows 11, with LTSC experience as a strong preference. Experience with enterprise support including Active Directory Domains and Intune; Microsoft Intune configuration is mandatory. Previous experience in factories or other high uptime, multi-shift support environments is preferred. Understanding of native & hybrid join; hands-on experience building it. Hands-on PowerShell knowledge. Experience with packaging applications: building software and preparing it for enterprise distribution. Experience with centrally managed profiles for high reliability sites; preferred Roaming Profiles and Mandatory Profiles in Active Directory. Experience taking notes from meetings, setting meetings, and preferably creating and editing technical documentation. Experience pre-testing Windows OS patches for automated distribution and reviewing patch success for monthly OS patches. Troubleshooting site-level issues and high-priority or wide-ranging issues under time pressure. System image testing with imaging team and editing documentation for Windows PC configurations and in-house software. Presentation ability in front of an audience of employees is preferred.
Role Specifics
Technical focus on migrating from a structured Microsoft Active Directory environment to an Entra ID / Intune-based environment. Use Windows 11 LTSC for long-term patch support with high uptime and reliability. Manage and control patching for the environment; strong experience with PowerShell, Batch, and XML is valuable. Balance innovation with security requirements in a highly regulated environment to provide a stable, consistent environment for high reliability. Experience with government or international regulations is a plus. Ability to handle high-pressure environments with tight deadlines and shifting priorities. Good communication and scheduling skills are essential. Experience in long-term services channels; Microsoft networking, Intune, and some exposure to manufacturing within a Microsoft domain. Willingness to learn and be a part of the team. PowerShell is a must; LTSC hands-on experience is a must. Create packaging and create images as required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
