Information Systems Security Officer The Opportunity: Cyber threats are everywhere, and the evolving threat landscape requires clear understanding and actionable plans. You will translate complex threats into manageable plans of action for the Army, helping to identify risks, understand applicable policies, and develop mitigation strategies. As an information security risk specialist on our team, youll work with the Army client and mission partners to discover cyber risks, review technical and personnel details from SMEs and engineers, and guide the client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones. Youll translate customer cybersecurity needs into secure and effective solutions by advising on techniques, offering alternatives, and balancing security with operational needs. Join us. Identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate the customers cybersecurity needs and goals into a practical plan Advise on new techniques and guide the team through critical approaches to security design Provide alternatives and customize solutions to maintain a balance of security and operational needs You Have

5+ years of experience with information systems security Experience with DCSA and DAAPM Experience with DoD security policies, including STIGs and IAVA, and with NISPOM, NIST 800-53, and ICD 503 Experience with security assessment tools such as SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, and ACAS or Nessus Experience in Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2018/2022 operating systems, and creating and overseeing RMF System Security Plans in eMASS Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Host-Based Security Systems (HBSS) Knowledge of Windows integration into Microsoft Active Directory, PKI, and Group Policies TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III certification, such as CISSP, CISM, or CCISO Nice If You Have

Experience in implementing security controls for both Windows and Linux operating systems Experience with the operation and maintenance of a government SIPRNet system Ability to adopt a holistic approach to security, ensuring overall security posture and contributing to team success Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation

Salary range: $99,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr (annualized USD). The projected compensation range reflects the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allens total compensation package. The posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
