Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Engineer to handle all cyber security-related tasks on both the product and infrastructure sides of our operations. As our organization scales and threats evolve, we require a professional who can enhance our existing security baseline and integrate new features in collaboration with IT and product teams. The ideal candidate will stay abreast of the latest trends and industry standards, scripting to help automate processes and setting up SIEM/SOAR solutions. Oversee and enhance cyber security measures across product and infrastructure areas. Collaborate with IT and product teams to integrate new security features. Stay updated with the latest trends and industry standards in cyber security. Script to help automate security processes. Set up and manage SIEM/SOAR solutions for threat detection and response. A minimum of 4 years of complex cyber security experience in both product and digital infrastructure. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Strong experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection, including setup and upgrades. Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools like Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is strongly preferred. Holding or working towards certifications like CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+. The work environment involves collaborating closely with IT and product teams, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and equipment to maintain and enhance cyber security measures. The role may involve flexible hours to accommodate the dynamic nature of cyber threats. Dress code is business casual. The pay range for this position is $42.07 - $81.63/hr.
