37.5 Hours Weekly / Monday-Friday Position Summary: Are you a motivated insurances sales professional ready to advance your career? We’re looking for a dynamic Personal Lines Risk Advisor to join our team! In this role, you’ll maintain and maximize profitable relationships with personal lines clients while growing the book of business through new sales. The ideal candidate loves to sell and excels at advising clients on existing and potential risks, providing tailored insurance solutions, building strong customer relationships, and staying ahead of industry trends. With a “You sell it, we service it” approach, you can focus on selling while our team ensures exceptional service. We're looking for someone who aligns with our agency's core values of Do Work, Wow Everyone, Explore More, and Live Zen. Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients through various communication channels. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects through follow-up, accurate proposals, and ongoing support. Respond to inbound inquiries, gather necessary information, and process proposals. Actively prospect and recommend increased coverage for both new and existing clients, ensuring the best values and coverages. Educate clients on risk exposures, insurance coverages, and limits using our BluePrint365 process. Track key metrics to ensure sales targets are met and document activities accurately. Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, and participate in meetings. Customer Service: Anticipate client needs and maintain a friendly, professional environment. Collect payments and signed documents from new clients, following up as needed. Review current clients for opportunities to round out accounts. Maintain detailed records of client interactions. Requirements: Participate in agency marketing activities and meet with carriers. Travel locally to client and carriers; occasional out-of-town travel may be required. Maintain Continued Education (CE) and participate in ongoing education. Perform additional duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Clear, prompt communication and strong time management skills. Solid understanding of insurance products, rating, underwriting, and industry processes. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Problem-solving abilities to manage difficult client calls and resolve issues. Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with technology, including but not limited to CRM software, rating tools, and carrier websites. Strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Desirable Software Skillsets: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) AgencyZoom (CRM) PL Rater Canopy Connect Calendly Standard Remote Work Platforms: Zoom and Teams Education & Experience: Valid insurance license required. Minimum of two years of experience as a personal lines producer. Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience preferred.
The following designations are a plus:
Certified Insurance Councilor (CIC) Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA) Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance (CAPI) 37.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday. $40,000 Draw against commission for the first year. Competitive Commissions. Compensation plan details will be provided at the interview. Five-year growth plan with potential earnings of $100,000+.
