The Meter Maintenance Technician position is the primary point of contact for meter maintenance in the Utilitys service area. Key Responsibilities

Investigate & troubleshoot energized electric & gas meter conditions Perform electric meter or gas module installations on energized equipment Residential gas module battery changes Antenna installation Link assessment testing Perform walkup reads and stand in for Mobile Meter Reader Residential electric and gas emergency assist Contribute to monthly safety meetings and adhere to all QHSE guidelines Maintain necessary safety equipment and stock of field work material Company Values

Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must be able to work on gas meters typically located close to ground level. Must be able to work on electric meters at various heights. Must be able to work wearing safety equipment. Must be able to work on ladders and in inclement weather. Ability to work with tools, mechanical and manual and maintain company vehicle. Ability to respond to emergency situations. Must be able to maintain accurate records. Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license. Personal Computer knowledge; familiar with Microsoft Office Suite; keyboard/typing skills. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Accountabilities

Ability to reason and make decisions based on directions. Must be flexible with work schedules, including Saturday work. Report and correct all QHSE violations. Maintain vehicle safety by performing daily maintenance review. Participate in cross-training with analysts, RF Technicians, and Cross Dock Technicians. Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred trade school education in electric or gas. Basic understanding of gas and electric theory and metering. Working Conditions / Safety / PPE / OHSAS

Working conditions: Typical indoor office environment; occasional field work; driving may be required; varying temperatures and outdoor factors. Driving status: Travel may be required. Physical requirements: Stand, walk, crouch, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; long periods at a computer; English language proficiency. Reasonable accommodation provided. Pay range:

$46,804 - $59,193

per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. Base salary offers depend on qualifications and experience. All candidates are encouraged to apply.
