CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. ISSOs are responsible for the security of an organization's information systems. Their duties include implementing security policies, assessing risks, responding to security breaches, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position is located in Arlington, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities: Developing and Implementing Security Policies Risk Assessment and Management Security Incident Response Compliance and Governance Security Awareness Training System Security Management Collaboration and Communication Monitoring and Evaluation Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or 5 to 8 years of experience Security Clearance: Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Candidates with an active TS/SCI and polygraph are highly desirable. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of security principles, technologies, and best practices. Risk Management Framework (RMF): Experience with the Risk Management Framework and its application to information systems. Security Architecture: Understanding of secure system design principles and experience developing secure architectures. Security Controls: Knowledge of various security controls and their implementation. Vulnerability Assessment: Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and techniques. Security Documentation: Ability to create and maintain security documentation. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security challenges. Compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $173,500.00.
