Senior Business Intelligence Analyst Supply Chain
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst Supply Chain will play a key role in enhancing visibility, automation, and data-driven decision-making across the Supply Chain organization. This role supports the company's integrated planning processensuring consistent alignment between commercial demand and operational supply strategies. You'll be responsible for connecting and optimizing diverse systems and data sources, building advanced analytics solutions, and partnering across cross-functional teams to solve complex supply chain problems. This is a highly analytical, collaborative, and strategic position best suited for a data-driven self-starter. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Design and maintain tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions to track and visualize key supply chain metrics using Microsoft Power BI or similar tools. Partner with the Product, Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing, Planning, and IT teams to gather requirements, create reporting, and drive analytic projects that help solve complex supply chain challenges. Review historical trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions. Interact with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers. Identify opportunities to improve data pipelines, automate repetitive tasks, and increase reporting accuracy and efficiency. Provide insights and recommendations that enable strategic supply chain decisions. Extract, transform, clean, and analyze data from a variety of internal and external sources. Support the ongoing design of the TransMedics supply chain, and the refinement of the integrated planning model. Assist with ad hoc analysis, special projects, and other duties as assigned. Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as assigned. This position will not have management responsibilities. General office environment, may sit for extended periods of time. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or a related field. 35 years of experience in a data analytics, business intelligence, demand planning, or supply chain operations role. Proficiency with SQL and scripting languages such as Python or C# for automation. Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools to create interactive dashboards. Preferred qualifications: Strong Excel skills; familiarity with VBA, Macros, Pivot Tables, and statistical modeling is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
