AWS Cloud Administrator

CACI is seeking an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Engineer to act as a member of an application development team working with Amazon Services to develop business applications in support of a government customer. The cloud engineer will collaborate with developers, system administrators, Scrum masters, testers, and customers to define requirements, implement cloud-based solutions, and refine cloud systems. This position will also require providing support and troubleshooting issues with existing production cloud environments. Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage complex AWS cloud environments Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like CloudFormation Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity solutions Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services and applications Implement and maintain security controls and compliance measures Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members Stay current with AWS services and best practices, recommending new technologies and approaches Qualifications:

An active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required to begin employment. CompTIA Security+ Certification (IAT level 2 or higher) AWS Professional level certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and Bedrock Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., CloudFormation) Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch 5+ years of experience in cloud administration, with at least 3 years focused on AWS Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar Ability to manage multiple priority tasks Self-motivated task identification Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline) Familiarity with Agile methodologies A culture of integrity.
