The LNA in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) works under the direction and supervision of the RN staff. The LNA receives daily patient assignments and carries out assignments in accordance with individualized patient plan care. Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of care provided to ensure the effective integration of information for use by the health care team to ensure on-going and continued quality of care, in accordance with Vermont State Board of Nursing and SVMC policies and regulations. Evening shift 3pm-11:30pm with rotating weekends and rotating holidays. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience as an LNA strongly preferred in specialty units. Ability to obtain a valid VT State LNA license by date of employment required. Health Care Provider BLS certification required within 90 days of hire. Must be 18 years or older to apply.
